Literature to initialise FASSI should include writings by Leopold Senghor, Kwame Nkrumah, Franz Fanon, Margaret Mead, Mongo Beti, Santa Abdul Diop, Ezekiel Mphahlele, Stanlak Samkanga, Alan Pâton, Julius Nyerere, Ngugi Wathiongo, Ali Mazrui, Kenneth Kaunda, Nelson Mandela, Robert Mugabe, Thomas Sankara; on Bantu Philosophy (soon to remove the adjective “Bantu” as philosophy is philosophy and every culture and people ought to have their way of thinking, hence the need to include Cultural Anthropology, Traditional Beliefs and Practices, Ethics, Epistemology, Cosmology, Philosophy of the Human Mind, etc) we will need to investigate Placid Tempels, Hountonji, Mudimbe, et al.
